LAURA & SEVEN ~ DREAMS THE BAND
IN TOUCH

Big
Shows

"OK, the band has a couple of shows comin’ up that’s a little bigger than most. Last year they got to perform at Leesberg Bikefest, twice. First at Gator Harley, then on the Bud Lite Stage. Then they got to perform at the Eustis Street Party, twice. Now they’re opening for Ghost Riders, twice! Ghost Riders is a Southern Rock all-star band made up of players from Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, Pure Prairie League, Outlaws & Blackfoot. The first show will be in Altamonte Springs at A Petrified Forest. Near the intersection of 17/92 and 436 there’s an empty field and some woods across the street from McDonald’s. Work is in progress, even as you read this, to build a “haunted village” clear back into the woods for the Halloween season. The Grand Opening is September 30 and will feature the concert just prior to opening the gates to the public. There’s a stockade fence that will be lined with vendors selling all kinds of food, drinks and “stuff”. That’s also where the stage will be. Admission is $15 day of the show, $12 if you order tickets in advance. Go to www.apetrifiedforest.comand click on the “get tickets” icon. By the way, Active Military and Veterans get in for $10 day of the show, with ID.

Gates open at 3pm, Dreams is on at 4pm and Ghost Riders at 6pm, about. After the show is over they open the doors of the village for a month of “kooks, spooks & music”. They will remain open until the big Halloween blast. The second performance will be at Alligator Alley in Kissimmee on the 7th of November. This place is HUGE, it seats 1,500 people A third show is with the Ghost Riders again but this time they’re at the Jai Alai Fronton in Casselberry. The show is set for sometime in December. More details as they come in. Comin’ up in October the band will be at Gator Harley in Leesberg for a benefit show. It’s at 11am so set your alarm.
